Day Touring
Using cable cars, many possibilities are open, at every standard
: Crochues/Bérard,
Col du Belvédère leaving from the Flégère - Col d'Entrèves, Mont Mallet
leaving from the Aiguille du Midi - Cols du Chardonnet, Trois Cols, Col
d'Argentière leaving from Les Grands Montets, and many more.
Period : from december to may according to mountain and snow conditions.
*Collective cost (maximum 6 persons) : 110 € /
pers. per day.
*Private guide formula : (1 to 4 persons): 310 € per
day for the guide.
Ski touring courses Chamonix valley
Three to five day courses based in Chamonix with each day a different
tour, setting off from a ski lift. Up hill skinning of moderate length
each time offering different varied descents with splendid views, in the
Mont-Blanc massif. A great way to escape from the crowds. Snowboarders
are welcome, you will just have to rent a pair of short approach skis
for the skinning up.
Every week-ends from january to may.

Avalanche Awareness - Glacier rescue - Winter safety course
You are looking to gain confidence in decision making when off piste or
ski touring, by possessing a greater knowledge of the snow-pack you are
skiing on and the standard safety rules to be followed. This course is
aimed at teaching you these necessary skills. Programme: detailed study
of the snow-pack, security on a glacier, demonstration of a crevasse rescue,
becoming familiar with ski touring equipment and the preparation necessary
for day tours and multi-day touring.
2 days - Every weeks-end from december to may.
180 € per person (4 pers. mini.)
Includes : guide, harness, avalanche transceiver and
technical equipment. Not included : ski pass, lodging, drinks and
food.
